In the wake of horrific communal violence across the country, the Sanatani community has suffered unimaginable losses. More than a hundred temples have been destroyed, and many families have been left destitute, losing their homes and livelihoods. In response to this tragedy, SPS Welfare Trust has stepped forward, launching its humanitarian journey with a mission of relief and resilience.
Our first destination was Jelepara, Pirganj, Rangpur, where extremist attacks left Hindu families with nothing. With the support of SDSPS, Bhalobashar Udyog, Maheshwari-Bright Girls, and the generosity of Sanatanis from home and abroad, we reached 30 affected families, providing essential relief items. Unlike a public event, our team personally visited each home, ensuring dignity and direct assistance. The SPS Rangpur family, alongside dedicated SPS volunteer Likhon Ghosh, played a crucial role in successfully executing this mission.
Relief Items Distributed:
✅ Food Supplies (Rice, lentils, oil, salt, potatoes, onions, flattened rice, puffed rice, jaggery, candles, matchboxes)
✅ Clothing (Sarees for all women)
✅ Medical Aid (Paracetamol, oral saline, cold & flu medicine)
✅ Financial Assistance (1,000 BDT per family)
✊ Our next relief mission is scheduled for Hajiganj, Chandpur, followed by Noakhali, Feni, Cox’s Bazar, Debiganj, and other affected regions. SPS Welfare Trust remains steadfast in its commitment to protecting, uplifting, and serving the Sanatani community. Your support is crucial in this humanitarian endeavor.
